Returns & Refunds

We want you to be happy with every purchase from House Of Shopping. If something isn't right, here's how returns work.

30-day returns

You can return any item within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the product price. Items must be unused, in their original condition and, where possible, in the original packaging. Furniture that has been assembled cannot be returned unless it is faulty.

Faulty or damaged items

If your item arrives damaged or develops a fault, contact us within 30 days with your order number and photos. We will arrange a replacement or full refund, and we cover the return postage for faulty or incorrect items.

Change of mind returns

For change-of-mind returns, the return postage is paid by the customer. We recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot refund items lost in transit back to us. Original delivery charges (if any) are non-refundable.

How to start a return

1. Email info@houseofshopping.co.uk with your order number and the reason for the return.
2. We will reply within 1 working day with return instructions and the return address.
3. Send the item back and share the tracking number with us.

Refund timing

Once the item is received and checked, your refund is issued to the original payment method within 3–5 working days. Depending on your bank, it can take a further 3–5 working days to appear on your statement.

Exchanges

Want a different colour or size? Return the original item for a refund and place a new order — this is the fastest way to get the right item to you.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, including your 14-day right to cancel distance purchases.
